Arsenal faces a setback with Gabriel Magalhaes’ injury, sparking concerns about their summer plans.

Arsenal faced a second injury setback against Everton as they aimed to challenge Manchester City in the Premier League title race. They started the match without Bukayo Saka, who had a muscular injury from training. Gabriel Magalhaes was also forced off in the final game after a collision with Abdoulaye Doucoure, leaving with just over 30 minutes remaining and the score tied at 1-1.

Oleksandr Zinchenko replaced Gabriel, whose participation in this summer’s Copa America is now uncertain. Saka’s absence also raises concerns for England ahead of Euro 2024, though his injury is believed to be minor.

On a positive note, Jurrien Timber returned to the side, making his second appearance for Arsenal after being out since the first game of the season. Emile Smith Rowe was also substituted in, potentially making his final appearance for the club amid transfer speculation.
