Winger signs Tottenham Hotspur deal despite Real Madrid links

Image
When Real Madrid come calling, there are not many who turn the opportunity to join Los Blancos down. The Spanish giants just have a different aura about them. The 15 Champions League title, which nobody is even close to matching. The sheer number of legends who have donned the Royal White jersey over the years. Yet, it looks like one Tottenham Hotspur player has decided to stay put despite links with a move to Santiago Bernabeu. The player in question is Mikey Moore. He made his debut for Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester City on 14 May, and the youngster caught the eye of many with his performance. There was believed to be interest from European giants like Real Madrid and PSG. But Moore has decided to remain in London. As tweeted by Ben Jacobs, Moore has signed his first professional contract with Tottenham Hotspur. His future was never in doubt despite links with PSG and Real Madrid. Arne Slot, Liverpool Slot turns to ‘hard-working’ Liverpool midfielder after Zubimendi rejection

Image
Arne Slot has responded to the disappointment of Liverpool’s failed move for Martin Zubimendi by switching his attentions to an existing member of his squad. There is understandable concern and trepidation over the Reds’ no.6 situation given Zubimendi’s decision to reject Liverpool at stay at his boyhood club, something for which he should be admired for it has to be said.  Of course, that is the more romantic interpretation. Liverpool fans like ourselves are obviously unhappy that the move has fallen through and it does raise serious questions over new sporting director Richard Hughes, and it does feel like deja vu given how this seems to keep happening when trying to lure a holding midfielder to Anfield. Despite the disappointment that all involved from a Liverpool perspective feel, Arne Slot has reportedly decided therefore to give a second chance to a player many thought would be exiting the club this summer. Can Liverpool win premier League without signings?

Image
Liverpool remain the only Premier League club yet to make a transfer so far this summer after Martin Zubimendi turned down a move to Anfield to stay at Real Sociedad. It's anything but certain that Liverpool will now pursue other targets after being snubbed by the midfielder. Liverpool sought to sign Zubimendi after being told unequivocally that the player wanted to leave this summer and because they believed his profile would complement Arne Slot's existing squad.   The pursuit has been described as 'opportunistic' and therefore there is currently no widespread expectation that Liverpool will seek to re-enter the market for another midfielder.  How much have PL clubs spent so far this summer Chelsea have splashed a cool, table-topping £156.3m on signings this summer - and that excludes the fee for Estevao Willian, who will join the Blues next season. West Ham have leapfrogged Aston Villa into runners-up spot after confirming the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Man Ut

Things Juni Wants To See

Image
Match Day: UEFA Super Cup Final And So We Begin. It’s finally time. The first official game of the Real Madrid CF 24/25 season. I honestly have no clue what to expect being that this will be our first game with the majority of our starters (since everyone ditched preseason) but I’m hoping for some quick counters and potentially our future starting lineup. Things Juni Wants To See 1) Vini - Mbappe - Rodrygo. I guess I could’ve easily just said Mbappe but I’m hoping to see this front three in some capacity tomorrow whether its a 4-3-3 or a 4-4-2 (diamond). I’m an unhealthy amount of excited to see whether Vini / Mbappe / Rodrygo can actually work or if we do need to start 4 midfielders (more on that later). I suspect Atalanta will continue their frantic high press so VMR (RMV sounds better) in transition could be absolutely entertaining. 2) A Free kick. This is small and a bit silly but I just want to see who is taking our free kicks and corners. I suspect Rodrygo will take some of our

Madrid eye move for Brazilian defender after missing out on Leny Yoro to Manchester United - Reports

Image
Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to make a move to sign Brazilian defender Vitor Reis this summer. The Palmeiras youngster has emerged as a target for the European champions, who are fans of his rapid development in Brazil. Palmeiras are blessed with a good squad that has led to successive Brasileirao Serie A titles in 2022 and 2023. A lot of the success has been due to the quality of their academy set-up, which has provided them with quality players to compete with the league's finest.Real Madrid seemingly believe in the quality of the Palmeiras production line as they splashed the cash (reportedly €60 million) on a 16-year-old Endrick in 2022. Chelsea also did the same this summer, potentially paying up to €55 million to sign 17-year-old Estevao Willian from the Brazilian club. According to Fichajes, Los Blancos are eyeing Vitor Reis as an addition to their squad this summer after his emergence on the Palmeiras scene. The 18-year-old centre-back has become a target for the

In midfield, we've got the creativity of Thiago Alcantara, the work rate of Jordan Henderson, and the skill of Fabinho. And up front, we've got the pace and precision of Mohamed Salah, the vision of Roberto Firmino, and the power of Darwin Nunez. We've got the talent, we've got the depth, and we've got the determination. We've been through tough times before and always come out on top. Remember the Miracle of Anfield, the come
